Preamble:
Computer Society of India (CSI) established on 6th March 1965, is the first and largest body of Computer Professionals in India. This is a non-profit professional organization to exchange views and information learn and share ideas regarding advancement of theory and practice of computer engineering and technology systems, science and engineering, information processing and many more. The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career Enhancement among all categories of IT professionals, and inspire, nurture, and assist students to integrate into the IT community.
GMR Institute of Technology CSI Student Chapter (Membership Number: I00882) was started in 2007 for the benefit of the students professional and career growth. It is an active student chapter and conducting various technical events, workshops, seminars, technical talks, webinars, guest lectures, technical symposiums, competitions, etc., This chapter has won 5 National level awards, and 4 Regional level awards.
Objectives:
To encourage the students to participate in various technical events like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, competitions, conventions, technical fests, etc.,
To create awareness about recent technologies in Information Technology field.
To provide the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and bridging the gap between institution and industry.
