  • At the end of each semester, semester end examinations will generally be conducted during October/November and during April / May for odd and even semesters. Supplementary examinations shall be conducted as per the separate schedule announced[cite: 1].
  • Continuous Assessment Marks will be awarded by the teachers on the basis of Continuous Evaluation made during the semester as per the scheme[cite: 1].

Earned grads are based on the percentage of marks secured by a candidate in individual course. Awarded grades are based on the histogram generated for the marks secure by all the students and the respective course average marks[cite: 1].

Grading System

The grading system is mentioned below:

Range of Percentage of Marks Letter Grade Qualitative Meaning Grade Point Remarks
90-100 A+ Outstanding 10 Earned grade

After completion of the programme, the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from the I Semester to VIII Semester (from III to VIII semester for lateral entry) is calculated[cite: 1].

Equivalent Percentage

In view that grading system is adopted, for the benefit of the students and other stack holders who wish to have an equivalent percentage for the CGPA secured for the graduation, the following empirical relation is provided[cite: 1].

AR16 (CGPA - 0.50) x 10
AR20 (CGPA - 0.50) x 10
AR21 (CGPA - 0.75) x 10
