With the objective of providing an enabling platform for the holistic development of students, GMRIT Deemed to be University facilitates various infrastructural facilities that nurture student development through curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. These initiatives encourage students to actively participate in a wide range of academic, cultural, social, and recreational programs.

These activities enable students to enhance their engagement in diverse social, cultural, recreational, and community service initiatives. The campus environment offers a broad platform for cross-cultural interaction among students coming from different regions and backgrounds. Such interactions contribute significantly to the happiness index of students, academic performance, professional growth, and enthusiasm towards cultural, social, and academic enrichment.

All co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are carefully planned and executed in accordance with the annual calendar of events to ensure that every student gets the opportunity to participate and benefit from these activities. Students are also encouraged to actively participate in outreach and social initiatives through the National Service Scheme (NSS), which focuses on personality development through community service and social responsibility.

To enhance the well-being of students and maintain good mental health, regular Yoga and Meditation sessions are conducted by trained internal faculty members and guest speakers in association with the Swami Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence and the Heartfulness Meditation Centre.

To help students balance academic pressure and personal stress, motivational talks and counselling sessions are organized periodically through a consultant psychologist. These sessions help students manage anxiety, develop resilience, and maintain a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal well-being.
