Research Advisory Board
The Research Advisory Board (RAB) continuously mentors and provides strategic
direction for faculty research activities in terms of quality publications,
promotion of fundamental research, formulation of funded research projects,
and implementation of monitoring and incentive schemes.
The Board also guides and mentors the institute in establishing Centers of
Excellence in emerging areas by consolidating research facilities under a
unified ecosystem that motivates faculty members to pursue impactful research.
To accomplish this, the Research Advisory Board shall:
- Mentor faculty to improve research proposal writing skills and explore better funding and publishing opportunities.
- Advise faculty on collaborative and funded research programs and fine-tuning proposals.
- Facilitate connections with industries, universities, institutions, and laboratories.
- Recommend best practices to strengthen research culture aligned with premier institutions.
- Support identification of emerging areas to establish Centers of Excellence in collaboration with industries.
