Research Overview

Research being a key differentiator, all the premier government and private Institutions in the country have taken up several initiatives to promote and nurture research among the faculty and students. GMRIT believes that research is a critical component of any higher education institution and it improves the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate education apart from improving the quality of teachers and students in the higher education system there by leading to be counted among the best research-oriented institutions.

So research must assume a central role for any academic institute, and more so for an institution like GMRIT, which is aiming at university status. So it is therefore strongly felt that GMRIT is to gear up for meeting challenges of higher education, by ramping up its efforts in the area of research by having a well-structured Research Advisory Board (RAB) and Research & Development Cell.
