Cyber-Physical Systems and Automation

Preamble

In the era of Industry 4.0, the convergence of physical processes with digital control systems known as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is transforming industries by enabling intelligent automation, real-time monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. The Cyber-Physical Systems and Automation Research Group is committed to advancing research in this dynamic field, driving innovation that integrates pioneering computational models, sensors, and automation technologies with physical processes. Our research focuses on the development and deployment of CPS in a wide range of applications, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and energy systems. By bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds, we aim to create more efficient, flexible, and intelligent systems that optimize performance, increase safety, and reduce costs. The group leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), control systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance automation capabilities and ensure seamless interaction between cyber and physical components.
