Overview
The 90.4 MHz Community Radio Station of GMRIT has been established in the year 2013 with an objective to serve the society by broadcasting programmes related to education, health, agriculture, information, entertainment, public affairs, culture, career guidance, rural and community development etc. The format, presentation, language and subject will reflect and emanate the local flavour and fragrance.
Objectives
To provide a platform for students to contribute for the community development.
To empower the poor, illiterate and unreached rural members of the community.
To enable interaction between local community and academia.
To become creators of media in this modern communication world.
To understand the community in which they work
To create a community with equal access to knowledge and information
