It gives me an immense pride and pleasure to lead the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department of this esteemed and prestigious institution, which was established in 1997. The department of EEE has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the annual intake of the department is 120 students. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the frontrunner due to its recognition and incorporation by all sectors and academia, enabling our students’ confidence to compete well in all competitive fields. The department provides a strong mathematical and scientific foundation in EEE fundamentals and produces meritorious and self-disciplined engineers. The programme also addresses and develops abilities in the application of design processes to innovative engineering solutions. Our students' innate skills are carefully nurtured by highly qualified faculty, an industry-drafted Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) curriculum and syllabi, and a vibrant academic atmosphere to achieve the department's goals and objectives. The internships in the industry serve as a link between classroom theories and their actual applications in the workplace. They assist our students in improving their understanding of analytical principles and methodologies while also sharpening their abilities in real - world scenarios. The student can complete a full-semester internship at University Teknology Petronas (UTP) in Malaysia Under the UTP Research Attachment Programme as part of their coursework. In addition to the curriculum, the department is equipped with highly versatile hardware-in-loop testing systems such as OPAL-RT and dSPACE to enhance the research skills of the students. Some of the well-known organisations that have employed our students are Accenture, Capgemini, GMR Group, HCL Technologies, Hexaware, Infinite, Infosys, LnT, Mindtree, Prolifics, Everest Industries Ltd, KPIT Technologies Ltd, Beumer, Crompton Greaves, Tudip Technologies, Wipro, Value Labs, Mphasis, Pennant Technologies, TCS, Upgrade, and many others.
