    SINCE from the inception 1997 the department is grown with all paces and bagged many laurels at university level. Department is able to produce universal engineers with competitive salaries. Our alumni is the strength of department in providing assistant in all aspects like placements, career development etc. department is rich in qualified and Experienced faculty and state of art laboratory facilities . A desire can change nothing, a decision can change something but a determination can change everything.     • Mr. P. Lohit, Mr. P. Pradeep, Mr. R. Sandeep, and Mr. V. Gopinanth, won the best paper presentation award during RADIAN2K23 organized by Department of Information technology, ANITS college Visakhapatnam on 2nd March and 3rd March 2023.
    • Miss. S.V.P.S Lahari and Mr. G. Poorna Chandra Mohan Naidu won 3rd place in the paper presentation competition during IGNITION2023 organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, ANITS college Vishakapatnam on 2nd and 3rd March 2023.
    • Nalli Ramu of 3rd year Mechanical won 2nd prize in the STEPCONE 2023 in the Technical Paper presentation organized by GMR institute of Technology, Rajam during 24th -25th January 2023.
    • Team ADIRA won prize in the low weight category and Team ASTHRA won in the aesthetics category of vehicle design from the Mechanical Department in the GoKarting Championship 2023 event organized during the STEPCONE 2023 from 24th -25th January 2023.
    • B. Sai Suresh of 4th year mechanical has presented technical paper entitled A short-term review on self-charging drone for different applications in the ICRAME 2023 4th International Conference on Recent Advancements in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Silchar, Assam India from 03-05 February 2023.
    • S. V. P. S Lahari and P. Murali Mohan Rao, and Sanapala Dinesh of 3rd year won 1st position with a cash prize of ?5000 and around students of 3rd year also presented scientific papers at during VISTA 2022, two-day national level technical fest held on 14th -15th September 2022 at Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (A), Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
    • Vamsi Krishna, Satya Prasannam, Y.V Vivek, and P. Satya Prasad stood winners and V. Rani, Yesu Peketi, and T. Laila won stood runners in the competition on failure modes and effects analysis Smart Engineering for a better world discussion and talks held on the occasion of Engineers Day Celebrations on 15th September 2022.
    • G. Neeraj Chowdary and his team participated in three minutes thesis at the youth conclave 2022 (INAE-SERB Youth Conclave on Technology Self- Reliance) organized by IIT, Jodhpur, September 15th – September 18th 2022.
    • Budda Chandrasekhar and Arun Kumar Dharamavarapu of final year presented papers at the international conference on Education 5.0-Role of Institution, Industry and Society (ERIIS)” held at NIT Warangal, during 14th and 15th October, 2022.
    • 10 students of 3rd year visited the ATAL Tunnel, Rohtang, Himachal Pradesh from 18th December 2020 to 25th December 2020 to carry out study tour under the AICTE youth for acquiring knowledge (YUVAK) scheme.
    • Mr. V. Venkatesh of 3rd year won the 2nd position in the 60 kg body weight category in Weightlifting/Best physique championship at JNTUK Intercollegiate Tournament and Trials Selection championship 2021 during 20th December to 21st December 2021.
    • K. Lakshmana Murthy of 3rd year mechanical won 1st place in Long jump in Men’s category in the inter collegiate Athletic men and women championship and trials held at Aditya engineering college on the 26th and 27th December 2021.
