Overview

At GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) India Collegiate Club came into existence from September 2016. SAEINDIA Collegiate clubs provide many benefits to their members and are assets to the engineering colleges. Students are counseled by the SAEINDIA faculty Adviser. The students themselves through the elected officers administer college club affairs. The collegiate club functions according to its constitution and such general rules as may be outlined by the SAEINDIA Students Activities Committee.

Objectives

To provide students with tangible contact with their future profession –engineering.

To increase the benefits of SAEINDIA student membership through special activities.

To provide continuity to engineering education.

To provide exposure to industrial operating environment and working conditions.
