Energy Resources and Optimization

Preamble

The efficient and sustainable management of energy resources is critical to addressing the global challenges of energy security, economic development, and environmental sustainability. The Energy Resources and Optimization Research Group is dedicated to advancing research that focuses on the optimization, efficient utilization, and management of energy resources, with the aim of enhancing energy production and consumption practices across diverse sectors. Our research is driven by the need to improve the performance and sustainability of conventional and renewable energy systems. By combining advanced mathematical modeling, simulation techniques, and optimization algorithms, the group seeks to develop solutions that optimize energy generation, distribution, and usage. We explore a wide range of energy resources, including fossil fuels, renewable sources like wind and solar, and emerging technologies such as hydrogen and energy storage systems.
